2020 Vision - The Gospel in the Decade Ahead
Congress is the only gathering of its
kind in New Zealand and takes place every three years, providing a unique
opportunity to build vision and relationships across the broad spectrum of
leadership in the Church. Congress is for leaders of denominations, city
ministers’ networks, ministries, and vocations.
The theme for this Congress is 2020
Vision – The Gospel in the Decade Ahead. Our hope is that through this
time of information sharing, relationship building, and prayer, the Church will
move closer to the unity which Jesus prayed for and be more effective in its
mission in New Zealand and beyond.
This will be the last Congress
before 2014 when we will be marking the bicentenary of the Gospel in New
Zealand. An update on planning for 2014 will form part of this Congress.
If you know of other Christian
leaders who should be invited to Congress, would you please let them know and encourage them to attend?
There is no other forum such as this for leaders to connect across such a wide
forum.
We look forward to joining you to
encourage each other and to see how the whole Church might take the whole
Gospel to the whole of this country and beyond in the decade ahead.

El Rancho
El Rancho has been upgraded since the last Congress in 2008.
There is now internet access across the whole site and a cafe for people to
relax and chat.
Accommodation is in
motel-style units with 2-3 beds in a unit.
Prices are on a shared unit basis.
Bed linen and towels are now included in the price.
Transport
Discount price airfares can usually be obtained if you book
well in advance.
TIP - It’s worth signing up for free email updates on Air New Zealand’s
grabaseat specials.
Shuttles will be arranged between Wellington Airport or city
and El Rancho, Waikanae. Details will be provided nearer the time.
Cancellations
Refunds for cancelled bookings are as follows –
A fee of $25 will be charged for cancellations up
to 31 January 2011.
A fee of $50 will be charged for cancellations
from 1 February to 14 February 2011.
From 15 February 2011 no refunds will be available.
